A few things about Robin
Robin's civic involvement includes elected service on the Boards of Trustees of the Gridley Elementary School District, Gridley Unified School District, and the Butte-Glenn Community College District.
In 1993, Robin was appointed by Governor Pete Wilson to the California Student Aid Commission, twice passing Senate confirmation on a vote of 38-0.
Robinette was appointed by Governors Arnold Schwarzenegger and, subsequently, Edmund G. Jerry Brown Jr. to the State District Agricultural Association - "Silver Dollar Fair."
Robin worked for five years in the U.S. House of Representatives for Congressman Wally Herger and is currently Staff Assistant to Butte County Supervisor Tod Kimmelshue.
Robinette is an alumna of BYU-Idaho and Butte College holding degrees in University Studies and Early Childhood Education with Honors.
Robin and her husband Josh grew up on Hazel Street in Gridley. Director Cook is the mother of five children and the grandmother of five.
Robin has provided communication consulting to numerous organizations, businesses, and elected officials.
